Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic Drainage

Medical lymphatic pump also known as an intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) device or lymphedema pump, this therapy features wearable inflatable sleeves (for arms, legs, or trunk) attached to an electric pump.

  • How it works: The device inflates and deflates its internal air chambers in a sequential pattern (starting from the furthest part of the limb and moving toward the trunk).
  • Benefits: It mimics manual lymphatic drainage massage to mobilize trapped fluid, reduce swelling, and improve circulation.
  •  It is frequently used to treat conditions like lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency, and to aid in post-surgical or athletic recovery. Sessions typically last 30 to 90 minutes.
